My husband team ropes and the old ropes are stacking up. I've been doing some looking and some asking since I too can not find actual instructions. Glue gun will NOT work. Those I have spoken with say the coils have to be melted together by either a soldering iron or woodworking iron. Use a bowl or pot as a mold and go from there. But some of the ones I have looked at are burnt on the inside. So I'm going to give it a try -- Good luck and keep me posted.
