Howdy, and yup I have me a few cans in the bedroom closet filled with change also have a 5 gallon glass water jug that I not only place coins but also $1 $5 $10 bills into....When I owned my own biz I started to collect piggy banks...1 for each child, neice and nephew I had each night I would empty all my change into the bank untill it was full then I would do the same to all the other banks...at christmas time I would buy a few REALLY NEEDED MUST HAVE OR I WILL DIE! toys fer the kids and hand over the piggy banks...half would go into a bank account and the other half was to buy the toys santa forgot to leav them....I have just started up a new piggy bank for my grandchild to be...I will save them all till his/her 5th b-day and cash them all in for bonds every year after that it will be the same a sbefore...half in an account and half to blow.....The most any child ever got from them piggies was 325 dollars and they werent even big banks just adds up fast is all....I also seen my grandparents due this as well as hide money in shoes, ole coat pockets, under chair cushions, taped behind a picture frame, and taped inside the commode take wrapped in shrinkwrap......go figure we would pick up those habits huh? lol...dale anne
