A Bit of Advice when taking fence climber to town

Take a horse when you haul a fence climbing steer to town. Hauled a 1000# steer to the locker plant in Sundance (50 miles from here). Took one look at the chute entering the building and climbed over the six foot fence. A marry chase we did have. All over town, through the golf course (didn't even get permission to play through), through yards, down the streets. After about an hour and a half ended ut shooting the sucker at the fair ground. Hauled him back w/a back hole. I'm too old for this crap. Gonna take a good roping horse a long next time just in case.
