I flew a mission as Engineer Gunner on a Bomber to distroy a German comunication center on Cherburg behind UTAH Beach. It was D-Day 1944.
It saddens Me that there is so little notice of this date now. True it was a long time ago and most of Us that were there are gone, but all tha same it hurts.
