Hogman,Iffn you would SIR,please accept my thanks for all you and many others did on this and many other days like this for us.
On Wed.the 5th. I had to visit a man near town on business,trip took me past the D-Day memorial.I always get kinda goose-bumpy when I look up at the memorial,especially that day,what with the bunting draped over it for the ceremony the next day.
As I was talking to the fellow,his son came by,in on leave from the Navy,been in the Persion Gulf.When I shook his hand I thanked him for his service,looked at me like,'dang ain't nobody ever said that before'. Wonder if we shouldn't do this more often,to the current as well as the ex service people.
Sorry I didn't get around to reading your post before you left on your journey to the 'pokey doc'prayin all is well and see you Satiddy.
Iffn I can get this link thingy to work,please realize everyone hasn't forgotton.
