I do not know if it is still made, but there was this prescription stuff available about 10 years ago that worked wonders.
It was 40% Salacylic Acid (Aspirin) and 40% Lactic Acid (the stuff that makes your muslces ache after a good workout) in a Colloidal base. It came in a small bottle like Iodine and was clear in colour.
What you did was soak the wart with a damp cloth for a few minutes and then coat it with this stuff. It hardened to the consistancy of rubber cement and stayed where you put it. It had almost no odor and worked like a dream. Used it a couple times a day for less than 2 weeks and the wart has never come back.
Strange, that I remember the ingredients but can not for the life of me remember what the name of the stuff was.
