I hope someone can help me with my problem. I bought a piece of property in 1996. My neighbor bought ajoining property at an earlier date. We both bought from the same former owner. It was one piece of property. His property sits between me and the alley where all utilities are located. Therefore, all my utilities run across his property. Which they have for thirty some years. The former owner didn't get an easment when he sold the property to my neighbor. I did not know this at the time I purchased my property. Now my neighbor wants my utilities removed from his property. Can he legally do this?
