Chickens Eating Eggs

Thanks for all the messages, I plan to keep an eye out for the offending egg eater, darken the nesting area and I might try to put some of them plastic Easter eggs in some of the bottom nests as a decoy, maybe it will tire out the offender trying to pick at the plastic eggs and not getting anywhere, to eventually give up.

I think that light does play a part, I have two white egg-laying hens out of 15, seen them on the nest several times, but haven't gotten a white egg for several weeks, most likely as has been previously posted, they can see the white eggs in the nest much better than the brown eggs.

I'll let you know the results after this weekend.
