hey gwen sounds like u been there and done that.
if you don't want to invest in a seperator.
put milk in container, let set at room temp.
until cream forms on top, skim cream off with
a cup or dipper. put it in a jar and bounce it on ur knee until butter forms.
and i aint going to say anything about grits.
i like butter on toast.
