I know what you are talking about. If it was me I would use a 3/8 scant poly nylon throw rope or probably better yet a striaght poly as it is easier to work got pretty much the same charasits as a rheata rope. Find a pot the size you want, do the base first till you get to the edge of the bottem of the pot then put the pot on it and start working up. If you got a pot belly ( the pot)when you get up the side where it starts coming back in take it out unless you what to plant something in it I would probably leave it in. Take the end for the handle and loop it like you what. By the way I would probably use the best hot glue I could find. Hope this helps you a little. Good luck, Chris Ne.
