YES,there does exist still a pea & bean sheller replacement that can be used if you can locate one. I have seen these used by many country folk as well as myself. IF you can locate an older washing machine that has a alothes wringer head attachment mounted above the washer tob,mosthad two rubber coated rollersthat were somewhat adjustable worked great as a pea & bean shellerby simply feeding them thru the rollers and catching the peas in a shallow pan underneath.
