Well, I love learning, have several degrees and still go back and pick up subjects when I have time. I think the problem is lawyers. You can't fire people without getting a lawsuit back at you, looks to me like. Or some government agency thinks you have discriminated against someone. I know a person that goes and gets a job with a big company, does a lousy job, gets laid off and cries "discimination" until she gets paid off to shut up. She's done this three times that I know about. And it's illegal for companies to share her name. It's human nature, if you can get paid to not work, you don't work, you play. That's one reason the Soviet Union is no more. Something the U.S. should remember. (Just my humble opinion.)
