Don't throw away those old glass Christmas balls just because the paint is scratched on them and they look grungy. They can be given a new life very easily. All you need to do is get a clear glass bowl, some Clorox, a small swatch of cloth, and some long skinny tweezers. Take the top off the ball and pour Clorox inside. Poke the cloth into the ball with the tweezers. Do all this over a glass bowl. Put your finger over the opening of the ball and shake. The scratched paint inside will disappear. If there is paint on the outside too, use the cloth to swab with the Clorox until all paint is gone and you have a completely clear glass ball. Clean the Clorox off and let dry. Then, get pieces of old garland or icicles or anything glittery and poke into the ball. You can use craft sparkle paint to decorate the outside of the ball any way you like. Then put the top back on and there is a brand new ornament!
