i do not know where you are located, but here in se texas, i have found several new and good used trailers (16' lowboys) for sale at very reasonable prices. even found one new trailer on a flea market lot for $675. i do not think anyone could build one for that considering the time and sweat and welding supplies needed. if i were you i would seriously look in the classified section of the newspaper or like someone else said to get one of the "equipment trader" magazines at the local conv store. they usually have tons and tons of trailers and other tractor goodies in them. sometime they do have some really good bargains.
