The trailer house axles are completely rebuilt before going under another trailer house, A rebuilder about 10 miles from me does this, he keeps 20 truck trailers hopping from state to state buying used axles and reconditioning them. Yes, they are junk compared to a real trailer axle, they are designed for one way transport a of less than 1000 miles. If you are going to be hauling 5000 lbs down the highway at 70 mph, then use good equipment. Loosing a loaded trailer is no fun and ain't worth the cost savings. I speak from experience and glad I did not get anybody killed. Johnny
