They prolly don't want 55 year old cannon cockers neither. Even though I don't have the MOS, I can hold my own pretty well in the admin field. I did spend five years on active duty in an armory and, believe me, you had to pretty well know supply and admin as well as your own job. I even went to NCOIC school at NGPEC, Camp Robinson, North Little Rock, Arkansas to better fulfill my duties at the unit.
BTW, I used to write all the NCOERs for the unit because, let's face it, the people who do the evaluating of NCOs (and that includes most officers I ever ran into) are not literary giants, if you know what I mean.
