Shallow well (38 ft of sand) with about 5ppm iron pumped through a 150 micron paper filter to remove the sand and anything else then to a 27k grain standard softener then through a 20 micron wrapped yarn filter before going to the house. Wouldn't use charcoal filters for sulphur, it does a good job at first but has a tendency to release the concentrated contaminates all at once when the filter becomes plugged. I like the idea of an aerator and would like to hear more about it
