I think you are talking about Lynch Pins. I lose them on a regular basis. My tractor dealer has a big ol' bucket of them and sells them for something like 4 fer a buck. Everytime I go in for parts (which according to my wife, is TOO often) I pick up a fist full. Course, due to creeping geezerhood, I still have to hunt for them when I need one.
