I found a little tid-bit for you:

Gestation is the period when the fetus (baby) develops in the mother's uterus. In dogs, gestation lasts 63 days from the time of ovulation. Because you don't know when ovulation occurred, you should expect puppies to be delivered anytime between 58 to 68 days from when the female was bred.
