12' X 12' X 3.14 = 452.2 cubic feet, IF you were filling it 12" deep. 2" = 1/6 foot, so 1/6 of 452.2 cubic feet = 75.36 cubic feet / 27 cubic feet to the cubic yard = 2.8 cubic yards.
