I have never, in 50-odd years of being around animals, seen anything that even approaches their ability to squeeze out through holes you wouldn't think a snake could get out of. They are the most accomplished escape artists I have ever seen.

I got rid of mine after the second time they wound up in my neighbor's garden eating all his greens.
