We're fortunate to have two vet clinics locally that still make farm calls...one specializes in equines, and the other takes care of everything else. Normal visit from the non-equine place is $50, plus whatever the treatment costs, an *emergency* visit, on a weekend, costs $125.

I'm very glad they come out, it is not an easy life for them...reminds me of the old James Herriot stories.
