Howdy 99, ain't heared a thing from'em since this last goround. We came thru in realy good shape but a lot of trees blowed down around tha area,Sat saw a BIG ole Oak kinda ridin a mobile home in a MH park and couple tha things away was one that went down between a pair.
not mabe neart as bad as tha storm befor where tha Corps notified Folks in fine, upscale brick homes built on tha lake ta "vacate now,you don't have time to take anything with you just run for high ground. at that moment they were openin tha spillways on all 4 dams, first time ever. Those fine, brick, upscale homes were flooded! was quit a spell befor tha folks could get back in other than by boat.
Roads are still closed where there are low water crossings........... See I may be a dumb, stupid hillwilliam but after 30 years in enjinearin i noed nuff ta build on tha hi ground.
Protem is still a lake with folks fishin from tha hiway cross from tha store.
Tha buildins in tha county park are still under water and tha annual county fair starts next month.sakes alive, makes a body wonder fer surely!
Take care AMIGO'n all tha reast't u'uns
Oprey house stayed dry......
