Chris called Lauren a little while ago, first time he could get to a phone. Turns out they didn't leave Bagdad yet, but despite the delay, "the plan" is that they'll still fly into Georgia as scheduled on Sunday night.

I'm sorry to see that the Army hasn't changed--"hurry up and wait" still lives. Don't know, but we're still leaving in the morning and hoping for the best. Hate to think about it, but I guess in a year he'll most likely be leaving again.

Thanks to all of you for your prayers and kind words over the past 15 months.
