i had one once. it was kinda underpowered and after a while, the battery started goin' bad so it got even weaker. maybe if it had had a removeable battery that i could have replaced, but them things are expensive too. since i moved here i wouldn't have one cuz i have so much to do and it wouldn't handle the weeds and brush i cut with my big gas powered one. personally, i wouldn't have another one no matter where i lived, but maybe the newer ones are more powerful and hold a charge longer.
