if ya keep yer radishes and sweet onions away from all fertaliser they wont be hot... any type of fertaliser will make them hot..

a friend of mine puts fert on his lil green onions to make them hot... i love green onions so when he said pull some i grabed 1 and cleaned it up and took a bite outa it and coulda spit fire across the yard :(
