I posted this once before but here it is again, it seems to fit the story.
Years ago when TV was young all shows were filmed live, no censors. The Grouch Marx show was a talk/game show in mid afternoon. As Groucho interviewed a woman contestant he asked her how many children she had. I believe her answer was 10. His answer was pure Groucho..."dang lady, I like my cigar too but I take it out of my mouth every now and then"
