I remember of my father talking about FDR and the depression a lot so I read up on it. The FDR administration froze all the bank withdrawals so the people could not remove their money. They also would confiscate gold owned by individuals. They came around the farms with orders to shoot cows and plow the crops under. The people were starving at the time. All of these remedies make sense to idiots. But I remember the dollars had a sign on them.Payable to the bearer in silver upon demand. Money up until then was based on fact. But later the money was not backed by neither gold nor silver so its value became a matter of faith.Atheist claim to believe in only science. But they cling to the allmighty dolars.
