this country will never ever get back to the gold standard. like you said, bill b, it too easy to devalue the paper money like was done in argentina a few years ago when the government there took a 0 off the paper money and $100 just became $10. what a beating that was for those folks and i'm looking for it to happen here soon unless we get back to a supply and demand economy and back on the gold standard, and revive our manufacturing and agriculture capability but don't give it much chance of happening. the government and the wall street traders have got us right where they want us and there is not anything we can do about it.
