A friend of mine sells about 4,000 bales of hay a season. he left for work last Thursday and when he came home saw fresh tire tracks going to the barn. He figures about 200 bales were stolen. The week before someone stole a truckload of used plywood sheets from his tool shed. They were caught.
Another neighbor's baler disappeared right out of the field and showed up at a local scrap yard. Other's are complaining about farm equipment disappearing.

This afternoon, I saw a flyer at the grocery store about a reward for information about a stolen horse, taken right out of the pasture.

Catalytic converters are stolen right off parked vehicles at the mall.

It is getting nuts.
