Man I bet you sleep good after keeping up with 4 pups. They'll be some free time on your hands when they get a little older, right?

We put a lot of miles on the truck. The fuel is hurting us like everybody else. I'm looking into some solutions and have a few ideas, but we're all in for a rough time in the very near future as far as I can tell. I spoke to a well driller last weekend and he said he spent 4,000 to make 4,800 last week. Most of it was from transport and operation. They use a big Detroit powered hammer drill and it's got a 500 gal. tank onboard. Everywhere I turn I hear stories like this. We've been asleep at the switch a long time. Let's hope some tinkerer somewhere can rise to the occasion and introduce us to some aid of some sort.

Hope the warm weather don't get into the ground too deep up there. Those holes could shrivel up and the walls will collapse on them. Seen it here during our drought last year.
