Nice Rainy Day

Here in Oxford Alabama. Took off work today so I could take my mom and dad for a couple Dr. appointments. Got all that taken care of now back home to kick back and watch it rain. Spent the past two afternoons working in the garden. Fertilizing and busting middles watching everything showing how much they have grown. All 10 rows of okra is up. Planted it with my earthway planter. Best investment I have made in a long time. Had the thing down in my pole barn for years. Had trouble with seeds getting behind the plates and would jam and miss spots. So I stuck it off in a corner and forgot about. Was down there piddling around one day and seen it. Brought up to my shop cleaned it up. Done some lubing and tinkered around where the plates lock in. Tryed it with planting the sweet corn. Lo and behold it worked great. Used it to plant the okra and lo and behold it worked great. Don't know if I was doing something wrong in the beginning but it is working wonders now. Have a good one. Dan
