Perhaps a moon phase? I had a hectic day, worked to almost 8 : pm, came home, changed and fed the animals and filled the water troughs, went in doors and heated some left overs in the microwave as I washed up a sink full of dirty dishes. (I do help out around the house.) Later, I have to finish a custody petition. Mrs. who was sitting in the living room watching TV, lets the dog in and sits back down in her chair. She then mentions that the dog carried in an egg and he just crunched it on the living room carpet, that I should come clean it up. Suddenly the image of Peg Bundy eating bob-bons in front of the tube flashes through my mind and I tell her to do it herself. And I get accused of needing anger management?

So I calmly ask, why at the end of my hectic day with a dozen more things to do before I can sleep, is my time and constructive activity worth so little that I must interrupt doing chores to clean up a mess that she could have prevented. Apparently, you don't love me enough to consider my time and contribution to the household chores as important so you just create more to do with no consideration for me. Daughter chimes in that I sound like one of the wives in a stupid sitcom and we all had a good laugh.
