I despise concrete work. I've worked around it most of my adult life and I suffer from over exposure. If you cast a critical eye on aged concrete you will find it to be as ugly as
ho-made sin. Only when it's brand new does it have any appeal.

Whenever I drive over some of the highway bridges I worked on and see their deplorable condition, I curse the exhaustive effort we went through to make them look perfect.

So, you ask, why do I do it? Well, my son recently got his home improvement license and he takes on small jobs while holding down a full time position with one of the nation's largest contractors. So, I help him as much as possible. it's what he calls spending quality time with his dad. Yeah right.........gfp
