Day pass is $4.00 and yes it will work for both Ash Falls and Niobrara State Park as well as any other state park in Nebraska. As a hint: the annual is just $20.00 so if you plan to visit state parks in Nebraska often it may save you money.
Yup! Big ones, they say he is at least waist high to an adult. He was seen and caught on camera North of Verdel which is just ten mile down the road (actually the land butts with my ex-husbands farm place). I will see if I can scan the photo's of him I have and the Niobrara Tribbune article for ya'll to see.
Look for me at the booth when you visit the park, if I'm not there I'm probably down at the barn wranglin' for the day. I'm the one without the badge... *giggle*
