Up here in Canada our Conservative federal govt. has caught the gas companies with a bit of a problem, i would say it is more of a consumer problem at this time.It seems that 50% of the pumps are wrong, either in favor of the company or the consumer. Now the gas companies are saying," Oh Well, because it is wrong both ways we are sure it all evens out".

Can you believe that, i,ll just bet it does only in their favor big time,anyway the Feds are investigating and we,ll see.

The other big thing up here now is a :carbon tax: it seems the tree huggers have convinced (now get this) The RIGHT WING govt here in BC to put a carbon tax on every liter of gas a person buys to help them not be able to afford to buy as much and therefore save the enviorment , it starts at a couple of cents in july and by 2012 will be about 11 cents, not a lot but combined with the already high cost of gas and the taxes they get now 1 cent would be too much.
