My son just lost his first loose tooth (he had some pulled before, but this is the first offical loose baby tooth). Of course, it was knocked out by his twin brother, even though it's been loose for weeks it had to be them horsing around. One day I am going to have tales to tell about those two...

What does the tooth fairy pay in your neck of the woods? I have heard of parents giving anywhere from $1.00 to $10.00. I am thinking one Sacajawea (sp?) gold color dollar coin will be fine. He does not want the tooth fairy to come tonight, he wants to show off his tooth first. This kid may never part with it. He is a collecter/ hoarder of odd things. He has piles of rocks, sticks, shells, owl pellets, all kinds of odd things.
