I am a firm believer in taking out preditors. I have shot three river otters in my lake this spring. A freind has taken 2 coyotes but there are plenty more. Although our chickens are in a run, we still worry about resourceful threats. We have 80 acres. If they stay on their 70, I don't have a problem, encroach on the homestead and there will be lead flying.
