We mostly have problems from all the whitetail deer. They eat virtually anything I plant on my 20 acres. I have lived on the same property for 50 years, and I would guess that there are 10 times as many deer now as there were when I was a kid. And partly because now there are many more people and houses around here due to subdivision of the larger farms, no one is hunting the deer, since it isn't very safe to shoot high powered rifles anymore. And then, to be legal, the only deer that could be taken would be bucks, which are almost never seen. The many, many does have lost their fear of humans. The main population control appears to be collisions with vehicles on the roads, any time of the day or night. I don't think this is very efficient "game management".

I have occasionally shot at coyotes, but in general, I don't do anything with predators unless they are endangering my animals, since they mostly take care of small rodents in the wild. I have never seen a fox around here, but it sure sounds like you are having a population explosion in your area. I would take care of the ones I could while they were small and available.

And I sure wouldn't say anything to the game people, since that might very well be a way to get them looking closely at me. The 3 S's is probably the best plan. Good luck!
