I'm changing my ways!

It's time for me to remember how to live like a West Indian again since gas and food prices are making it very hard for me to live like an American.

1. I'm cleaning out my pantry to make room to stockpile food. Basics like flour and rice (I have the rice), but other stuff like cereal, soy milk, canned stuff, etc.

2. I'm not buying bread anymore. Instead I'm going to invest in a really good bread maker (because though I love making bread by hand, I don't want to make it as often as I'll need it)which will pay for itself in about 40 loaves (of healthy bread) at market value.

3. I'm dusting off and cleaning up my dehydrator. I was going to give it away, but not now.

4. I'm going to expand my garden to freeze and dehydrate more.

5. Harvesting the woods of wild grapes and berries is going to be more than a passing interest.

So there. Any additional suggestions will be welcome.

Paula
