I so seriously thought about that Steve. It's not outside the list of possibilities. If I lived in Frederick MOST of my back and forth would be on foot or on bicycle. However,

1. My house is very efficient (energy wise), small and universal access. So far the house I saw in Frederick was at least 2x the square footage and all electric with an electric hot water tank, no full bath on the main floor, and by no means universal access. Now I don't need UA now, but it's nice to know that my house will allow me to grow old, or become permanently or temporarily disabled without having to move out. Granted I can always fix the UA issue.

2. And the market SUCKS right now. Nothing is selling.

3. I don't know where is better to be if the economic poop hits the fan - in the boonies where food is to be had on the hoof as it were, or in the city where everything (health services, food, etc is within walking distance)?
