First .Unplug the wire to the coil from the ON/OFF switch.It grounds the coil to cut off the fire.See if it fires after that. But while you are at it.Check the magnet gap with a piece of paper. The coil bars to magnet has got to be close.No rust. It has to fire or it wont crank. <> One bad thing. I found a dust blower of that brand with a bad coil. I think it has a transistor inside some. I tossed it away.
