Are you sure you don't have spark?

Pull the plug out. After the plug is out, put the plug wire back on. Make sure the switch is 'on' and give it a yank. Got spark?

If so - you're not getting fuel. Replace the fuel line, and replace the in tank filter.

Bet it'll start then. If not check the carb. Last string trimmer I worked on the very last thing I did was take the carb apart and cleaned it good. Runs like a new one now... sorta, but it's a Stihl. Stihls never start good... lol.
