Great blooms but no flowers is most likely a problem with a lack of pollinators. You might try some of that bee attractant stuff that some garden places sell. I've also read that a lack of some nutrients can cause the same problem, but if you're container growing and using fresh soil every year, I'd kind of doubt that. Still, you might try watering with Miracle grow every few weaks, just in case. I've only tried patty pans once, and didn't get much production out of them, so I grow the other squash varieties instead... they seem to produce more with less effort.
