NATHAN I applaud you! What a wonderful demonstration of the intricacies of the english language! Humorous as well. There are many Americans who cannot lay claim to a complete command of this language I'm sure. Another difficulty is slang as well. That, I think, is why it is so refreshing to listen to our language in the foreign accent. The newly learned language is spoken so properly and seems rather stiff at first but over time, americansims find their way into the dialect of all of us. Said by one young phillipine boy I helped tutor in my daughter's class. "The words sound stupid in my head"
"But when they come out of your mouth" I said, "they sound beautiful to me." He was a great kid.
