I recently decided to raise Scottish Highland Cattle and now know some large breeders in my area that would be willing to answer your questions if I can't. In general, Highland Cattle are a hardy breed that will do an amazing job at brush clean-up. They are easy calvers with birthweights about 68lbs. The average mature weights are: Cow-1100 to 1300 lbs Bull 1500-2000.
Heifers are usually bred to calve at 3 years old because Highlands are a little later maturing.
They come in 7 colors: black, brindle, red, yellow, white, silver, and Parti (patches of color, Only Females can be registered).

The link is to the NWHCA website and It has a link page that will take you to the American Highland Cattle Association and the Regional Association nearest you.

Hope this helps.

Feel free to email me if you have any questions.
