Reminds me of the media's constant attempts to stir the black/white thing in the South. I know that bad things happened in the 50' and 60's that were wrong and most are glad times have changed. Having said that, the media, at every opportunity (if there is not an opportunity, one will be created) tries to stir the pot and cause friction. We have a local liEberal rag that is widely known for that. Both races have their differences and prejudices, and just like the kids on the school yard, things work themselves out without the teacher's interference. If stepping in is required, they are there to correct and send them on their way, but things are much better when they don't try to micromanage the kids. The government, town busy bodies and the media should learn something from that playground.

Reminds me of the other day, I was out piddling on a piece of equipment. A truck stopped and a black guy I had never met before came up to ask me if a truck I have was for sale. Before the conversation was over, we had discussed at length hog hunting, how to cook good BBQ, working for a living, and we both had told the other that the next time a hog was smoked, the call would go to the other to come and enjoy. That is the way it's supposed to be.
