Not much help for your question but I heard a radio gardening show yesterday morning which was interesting. The host said that even though horse radish is a "flowering plant", there is no such thing as a horseradish seed that will propagate a new plant. New plants just come from the old roots I think, the flowers and seeds that are produced are not viable or something like that. Just more useless information for a Tuesday morning.
