On Saturday, three strangers, walked along the edge of our creek, passed NO Trespassing signs and within 100 feet of the back of my house. (They had traveled about 600 feet onto our property) Our dog stood at the edge of the fence barking at them as they walked along, trudging through an area made mushy by a spring. One of the women kept yelling at the dog to "Go Home!" I was coming from the barn to see what the fuss was about and heard my 9yr daughter yell at them, "He IS home. Why don't YOU Go Home!"
The woman called my daughter "Rude!" just as I turned the corner of the house. Before I could say a word, my daughter replied that it was far more rude to come on our property and bother us without permission.
Normally, she is very timid and respectful to everyone. I was quite shocked.
Not sure whether to scold her or reward her.
