If you move to the country for the first time in your life. The most valuable lesson you may learn is>NOTHING DULL WORKS RIGHT! Dull things work you to death.<< Chainsaw blades,Skillsaw blades ,Crosscut saw blades.Lawnmower blades.brush hog blades.knives.razors or anything that was intended to cut.It always works best sharp.Even in the Bible the guys back before (maybe) the iron age knew that. The old testament says somewhere in it,Something like this .A dull blade takes more energy so you must apply more energy to cut .Anyway.I was impressed that even those uneducated folks back then understood so much about energy.Today we have a big powerful engine to drive the blades but even those engines will conk out when overloaded by dull blades.Especially a chainsaw on big logs. They wear out the person too.
